A Sonoma County native, Dr. Swanson graduated from Los Angeles College of Chiropractic in 1983.  His first clinical position was with a medical corporation in Italy, providing services in Milan, Bari and Genova.  He returned to Sonoma County in 1986, establishing his private practice in Petaluma.  Dr. Swanson has thirty seven years of experience treating musculoskeletal complaints, extensive experience evaluating and treating injured workers, and knowledge and training in a number of chiropractic techniques to address the needs of all age groups. 

Dr. Swanson maintains a good rapport with a number of local medical specialists, including orthopedic surgeons and neurologists, allowing for effective management of difficult and complex spinal problems.
